Advocates for Children, Inc. held it’s Second Annual Golf Tournament Friday, October 21st at Holiday Golf Club on Panama City Beach. Emerald Coast Striping and The Bense Family Foundation were the Presenting Sponsors along with many other community partners and sponsors. It was a very successful event with over 100 golfers on a beautiful fall day.
With the funds that were raised from last year’s tournament, hundreds of abused and neglected children were able to experience activities that they may not otherwise have been able to participate. Some of those activities included gymnastics, karate, baseball, football, dance and soccer. Many children were also able to go to various camps during the summer including sports, church, and art camps as well as other special needs camps. With your support, shoes and clothing for kids removed from their homes were provided assistance. Furthermore, special events for the kids were provided such as a Christmas Carnival, National Adoption Day event, and assistance with band instruments, prom, school pictures and graduation. None of these are possible without sponsors and players for the event!! Each dollar goes directly to help kids.
